Client:

Manatee Port Authority

Description:

Emergency underwater inspection of pier after ship collision

Depth:

above water to 40'

Gas Used:

Dive was conducted using surface supplied air and SCUBA

Notes:

Low visibility conditions prompted Denizens of the Deep to use a 'clear water box' to facilitate underwater photography. In addition to collision damage Denizens of the Deep photographed previously existing pier damage during the inspection. A full written report with color photography was submitted to the client upon completion.

Client:

Harbor & Ocean Services Inc.

Description:

Salvage of sunken 34' vessel located in international waters

Depth:

150'

Gas Used:

Dive was conducted using surface supplied mixed gases

Notes:

Project was determined to be difficult and time-consuming using lift bags due to rough seas. Denizens of the Deep instead raised the vessel by jetting lift straps under it using a barge-mounted crane to lift it to the surface. Entire project took 4 days and beat a fast approaching storm that could have jeapordized a timely completion.
